At night, these things stalk the windows, especially those with light shining out (“Bugs!”). Unfortunately, when you’re not quite familiar with a phone’s controls, you may cause the flash to fire before you mean to. Should this happen, you may notice a distinct lack of geckos, except perhaps one that was stunned / blinded during the first flash.
What’s the proper response?
Stun / blind him again! But this time, get a good shot.
Well, I got a shot anyway, and the gecko stumbled off before I got another picture.
